Pastora Soler was born in September 28th, 1979 in Seville, Spain.

She is the youngest of three brothers and started singing at age 5 in a booth in the Fair of Seville to keep doing until now what became her profession ever since. Encouraged by her fans, she started singing classes with Adelita Domingo, with whom she traveled over Andalusia and what led her to record her first LP released in 1988, "Gracias Madre"

In 1993 Pastora becomes Juanita Reina protegé, one of the great singers of the Spanish song, and soon signed a contract with Polygram and recorded her first album that sees the light in 1994 with great reviews from press and radio.

She starts with presentations on television and brought to market in 1996 "El Mundo Que Soñé", listed in the pop genre, with musical direction and arrangements by Eddy Guerin, with authors such as Eros Ramazzotti, Manuel Alejandro, Alejandro Abad, etc. Over the years, music critics proclaim Pastora as a strong "rival" of the big names of the genre “Copla” such as Rocío Jurado and Isabel Pantoja.

In 1999, she signed a contract with record company EMI-Odeon, which released her third album titled "Fuente De Luna", starting to tour around the national geography with its pop-flamenco style. The song "Dámelo Ya" becomes a whole success in the charts in Spain and Turkey, selling 250,000 copies in Spain and in Turkey 100,000.

Led by Carlos Jean and Paco Ortega releases her fourth album in 2001 entitled "Corazón Congelado" which was chosen as the tuning head single of the Tour of Spain that year, during which she also recorded several duets in collaboration with different artists like Raphael and others. She became a frequent assistant of the top lists of radio and television charts.

On November 28, 2002 goes on sale her fourth studio album and the second produced by Carlos Jean. It is called “Deseo” and takes Pastora to a style closer to electronic music, followed by a set of concerts and extensive touring in promotion to this latest work.

In 2005, after participating in the album “Samba Pa’ Ti” a great classic of Brazilian music, Pastora Soler changed from her record company and signed a contract with Warner Music Spain. Eleven new songs in which there is a more mature and sophisticated sound. She went up to the top of the list of the hundred best-selling albums of Spain. To promote this first work with Warner, Pastora Soler launches “Solo Tu” ballad that shows the musical and personal maturity the artist is passing through. Subsequently “Grandes Exitos” is published and it is full of duets and remixes, very well received by the audiences.

After passing through various television programs and after lending her voice in the interpretation of soundtracks, come the wards. Dial Awards 2006 in its tenth edition, awarded Pastora Soler with artists such as Chenoa, Diana Navarro, Rosana, Lena and Malu. In 2007 she receives the Golden Microphone Award.

On June 5, 2007 comes out the seventh studio album of Pastora, entitled “Toda Mi Verdad” which single was composed by herself, debuting as a composer. The promotional single, although is ”Quien”. She starts a new tour around Spain to promote this new work and so she gives a review to her first songs, which have made of her one of the greatest voices of Spain. This tour will last throughout 2008. This year was full of awards for Pastora, having received numerous ones: Women Senate 2008, Cadena Dial Award 2008 or the Music Awards, where the singer received the award for Best album of Spanish songs. The tour held during this year also led to cross borders, offering several concerts in Egypt. Surprisingly, thanks to the good reception among the public of Cairo, Soler made several visits to the Opera House of Cairo, where only three Spanish singers had sung earlier: Carreras, Placido Domingo and Paco de Lucia .

On February 7, 2009 “Bendita Locura” is released, the first single from her eighth studio album (also called “Bendita Locura”). This new work follows the line of her predecessor music style “Toda Mi Verdad”, but with a fresher and newer touch. It was recorded between Madrid and Rome, with the collaboration of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Italian capital for a total of four songs. “Bendita Locura” is published in April 2009 and goes up to No. 8 in the list of the hundred best-selling albums in Spain. The promotional campaign takes place during spring and summer, through various concerts spread throughout the Spanish geography.

Pastora Soler celebrates fifteen years in the music world with the publication on September 7, 2010 a live CD + DVD recorded on May 5th and 6th at the Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville. In this new work entitled “15 Años” gathers her most successful songs, in addition to the collaboration of Malu, Miguel Poveda and Manuel Carrasco. The single chosen to promote this live album is the acoustic version of the bad “La Mala Costumbre”, a song dedicated to her father Francisco, who had already appeared on her previous album “Bendita Locura”.

In late July 2011, the Sevillian singer released her latest album under the name “Una Mujer Como YO”. On May 26, 2012, Pastora Soler represented Spain with the song "Quédate Conmigo" (name of her latest tour) in the Eurovision Song Contest, in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan and reached the top ten.
