He was born in Madrid on May 2, 1980 and the passion practically was born in him magically while growing teeth.

It was at age of 6 when he began practicing at home with magic tricks that his parents gave to him as a present. With 12 years he joined the School of Magic of Ana Tamariz (daughter of Juan Tamariz, who has always pointed out as a teacher).

In 1993 he performed the correspondent examination in the Spanish Society of Illusionism, passing with notable Excellency and becoming the youngest magician of the mentioned organization.

From there on his formation becomes more purist and starts attending all types of conferences and symposia on magic and illusion, specializing in manipulation. In 1995, the National Congress of Magic held in Valladolid gave him a national award, which would mark a new stage in his life as a magician.

A year later, in 1996, he won two awards at the International Magic Valongo that made everyone talk about Jorge Blass Jorge outside Spain. That fact made the following year when David Copperfield act in the Iberian Peninsula prompted a performance of George to exchange ideas. That same year the Spaniard gets the Frankson prize for the best magician of the year and participates in the World Magic Congress in Dresden (Germany), and gets the fifth spot in manipulation.

In 1998 he returned to the School of Magic by Juan Tamariz, this time as a teacher. A year later, with Tamariz and other greats of the Spanish magic, performed a show in New York. A few months after, Prince Rainier of Monaco gives the Golden Wand Award. In 2000 participates in a contest of magic in Las Vegas, being awarded "most promising talent." These events mark a new step in his career.
His first television appearance was in 2000 in a TV advert for a communications company. This made the face of Jorge Blass come to the general public, while still performing other works less recognized as the effects of the musical "Dr. Jekill and Mr. Hyde" by Raphael. In 2001 takes a giant step to participate in the popular children's program Megatrix Antena 3, where he runs his own magic show named Magiatrix.

His popularity is already unstoppable and performs shows from India to Hollywood. In 2002 he signs a contract with Disney and starts working for the Disney Zone program in Tele 5 with a section called Magic Vip. Ever since, his participation in programs such “Lo+Plus or “UN Domingo Cualquiera” is frequent. Jorge also published in 2003, his first book, "Magia para No Dejar De Soñar!.

In 2004 he created his own show, going on tour in various clubs of Madrid and Barcelona. His recent television work has been sporadic in collaborations with Ankawa (Bertin Osborne) and Saturday Night (with Yuste and Nani Gaitan Josema) and program direction of show “Nada Por Aqui” in Cuatro Channel.

He produces and directs in 2008 the fourth season of ”Nada Por Aqui”.
He is a founding member and patron of the Abracadabra Solidarity Foundation of Magicians www.fundacionabracadabra.org (nonprofit organization that is dedicated to bringing magic to hospitalized children, the elderly in nursing homes and mental and physical disabilities).

In 2007 he starred in the touring "Solidarity Men on Tour 07" with which he toured 22,000 miles, visiting 25 cities in Spain and acting in more than 30 children's hospitals giving away his magic show in what has been the most supportive magic marathon ever made.
