Elsa Lafuente Medianu was born in Madrid, Spain in July 18th 1976 and her artistic name is Elsa Pataky.

She is a model, producer and actress, who jumped into the show business thanks to her artistic roll playing “Raquel Alonso” in the Telecinco Network TV series “Al Salir De Clase”. Her rave for acting is given by her maternal grandfather, who was also an actor and who gave her the artistic last name she uses “Pataky”.

She studied Journalism in "Universidad San Pablo CEU" in Madrid and prepared herself as an actress with Ángel Gutiérrez in "Teatro Cámara" and in “Centro Cultural de Las Rozas”. Later on she extended her studies with Paco Pino.

Among the succesfull Works she has done, there are “The Wine of Summer” (2011), where she also debuted as a producer besides being the leading actress; “Ninette”, “Serpientes en el Avión”, “Fast Five” (2011), “William Ward”, “Clara” (1999), “Tawawo” (1999), “El Arte De Morir”, “Menos Es Más”, “Sin Noticias De Dios”, “Peor Imposible”, “El Furgón”, “Atraco A las 3 y media”, “Beyon Re-Animator”, “España Santos”, “Give’m Hell”, “Malone”, “El Rey Escorpión”, “Máncora” (2008), “Di Di Hollywood”, among others.

In addition to this, she has participated in TV shows and series, such as “Tío Willy”, “Queen of Swords” (Canadá) and “Los Serrano” and other advertising Works for companies like “Nestlé”, “Doble Cero” magazine, Spanish Edition of “Playboy”, “Maxim” magazine, “Guía Campsa” with Fernando Tejero, “MAN” magazine, “GQ”, “Elle”, “Time Force” watches, “Citizen K” magazine, “Hola!”, “Glamour”, “Cosmopolitan”, among others. In 2010 she did the “Hola!” magazine cover wearing a wedding dress announcing her secret wedding in an island in the Pacific with Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and in 2011 she gave the exclusive in the same magazine announcing her pregnancy.

In 2012 she appeared in several TV shows in Spain, promoting her latest movie “Fast Five”.
Elsa Pataky collaborates actively against breast cáncer through charitable advertising campaigns.
She recently announced her second pregnancy of current partner and father of first daughter, Chris Hemsworth.
